aka SPunique (spoonique)!
The Somers Point Unique Experience Club, LLC, has the goal to develop, produce and support various events in Somers Point, NJ, that are FUN and accentuate the wonderful and diverse aspects of our community. Since the 1990's they've been the brainchild behind such great events in Somers Point as Here Comes the Sun, The Holiday Porch Performances, April in Paris, Restaurant Week, miscellaneous bar crawls, and fundraising events such as The Right Notes and An Evening of Acapella & Doo Wop.
Upcoming Holiday Events
- The Annual Porch Performances of Dicken's, A Christmas Carol - Friday, December 6, 6pm.
Gather at 37 Somers Ave. in Somers Point at 6pm for Christmas Carolers and Act One of a quirky & humorous rendition of Charles Dickens' beloved holiday tale, "A Christmas Carol," performed by The Riddlesbrood Players. Then we'll visit other porches in the Bayfront Historic District for the remaining acts with the evening culminating at Gregory’s Restaurant, 900 Shore Road, Somers Point where light holiday refreshments will be served. This is a free event and all are welcome to attend.
The Porch Performances are funded through the generous donations of The Somers Point Business Association, Debi & Chuck Westcott and a number of other individuals. - The Somers Point Christmas & Holiday Parade - Saturday, December 7, 6pm.
Starts at Dawes Avenue School and proceeds down Shore Road to City Hall. This in an event presented by the Somers Point Historical Society. - The Somers Point Christmas Mart - Saturday, December 7, 10am to 4pm
Takes place on the grounds of the Somers Mansion, 1000 Shore Road, Somers Point. This event is presented by the Patriots for the Somers Mansion. - Great Bay Gallery Open House -The Weekend of Dec. 6-7-8 - 12-5PM - 829 BAY AVENUE
